ncshp955 Posted October 1, 2012 #1 Share Posted October 1, 2012 I was looking at the website that list all the bar menus and prices and just wondering about the differences in the regular bar, pool bar and the other bar menus listed. Can you order a pool menu item somewhere else other than from one of the pool wait staff and visa versa? I am considering the bar program should it become available on the Dream when I sail but really like some of the drinks listed on the pool bar menu but not the regular bar menu and don't want to have to keep going to the pool area just to get a drink that I like. Just curious.
flounder315 Posted October 1, 2012 #2 Share Posted October 1, 2012 you can get any drink at any bar... the exception would be, you may not be able to get a souviner glass that they offer at different bars at different times, like the disco ball is offer at the piano bar one night, cnat get it anywhere else, but you can order the drink that they serve in the disco ball. becker1959 Posted October 1, 2012 #3 Share Posted October 1, 2012 I was on the Triumph in August I kept my bar receipts to compare. The Capital Bar charges more for their drinks than any of the others. Don't know why. It wasn't much difference only about $1.

I have never noted a price difference among the various bars -- now I will pay closer attention!
Sargent_Schultz Posted October 1, 2012 #5 Share Posted October 1, 2012 Could depend on the time of day and the drink. Some drinks have reduced prices until noon.
JohnSpo Posted October 1, 2012 #6 Share Posted October 1, 2012 I also noticed when I ordered my usual tequila on the rocks with pineapple juice that I was charged $1.00 less at the casino bar than other bars on the ship. Not sure why? This was last week on the Glory out of NYC
Sargent_Schultz Posted October 1, 2012 #7 Share Posted October 1, 2012 Could it have been the first elegant night when there are reduced price drinks?
ncshp955 Posted October 1, 2012 Author #8 Share Posted October 1, 2012 I guess with all these price differences the bar package is looking better and better if they have it on the Dream in time. That way we won't have to worry about how much each drink is costing each time. Also would love to try some different drinks and then not worry as much if I liked them or not. cathyz Posted October 2, 2012 #10 Share Posted October 2, 2012 Could it have been the first elegant night when there are reduced price drinks? We noticed last week on the Splendor that there were several opportunities for $1 drinks for various reasons, seemed to be a new thing from our last few cruises.
