joeb49 Posted May 21, 2005 #1 Share Posted May 21, 2005 Booked our next cruise on the Miracle for this November. Yeah! One of the reasons we booked this ship was to go scuba diving in Belize as the Carnival website shows as a shore excursion for the Miracle. But.... after booking I went to the site to book the trip and.....NO SCUBA DIVING listed?????? Anybody have a clue what happened to it???? Thought I might ask here first and see if all you friendly folks can help us out before calling Carnival next week! Thanks in advance for your insight! divadiverfl Posted May 21, 2005 #2 Share Posted May 21, 2005 I would like to know the same thing because we want to go on one in Feb to Belize--we want to dive the Blue Hole and if they don't dive from the ship there, there is no need to go. I tried the scuba diving thread but no results......
joeb49 Posted May 21, 2005 Author #3 Share Posted May 21, 2005 Will keep an eye on these boards AND call Carnival this week. Being relatively new to cruising and to diving I think we feel more comfortable taking the ships shore excursion to dive. Guess that leaves use with diving in Cozumel as we did Grand Cayman last year. If I get any answers I will post them here for you. Happy cruising! rockedge Posted May 22, 2005 #4 Share Posted May 22, 2005 The ship is too far from the blue hole so that is not one of the dive sites. Many of the excursions aren't listed to purchase till much closer to your cruise date.
Sailfish Posted May 22, 2005 #5 Share Posted May 22, 2005 Once shore excursions are sold out, they are not available online; at least that is what one Carnival rep told me once. I am leading a scuba cruise in 2006 and made arrangements for the group through Shoretrips.com. Our group package includes dives in all four ports of call for our members only. But I know they offer individual dive packages as well. They are reasonably priced, but in Belize, you can also easily arrange your own diving.
