Suggestion for Ft Laud park & cruise?

We are booked on Oasis in May. Have done Allure previously and stayed at Pier 66 (Hyatt?). While it was fine, we were back in the older part of the hotel. Also, we had to pay extra to be able to leave our cars there during the cruise and paid for a private shuttle to/from Port. I didn't make the arrangements that time, so wasn't sure what alternatives may have been available.

This time, it's just the 2 of us for one night. Looking for clean, close to the Port, someplace to walk to for dinner, place to leave the car while we're gone (or we'll just park at the Port) and transportation to/from Port. Too much to ask for?

We understand we may have to pay a little extra (parking/shuttle), but are hoping for guidance/suggestions from others who have "been there, done that" more than us. Many thanks! :)

We have stayed a the Hampton inn in plantation it's in a nice area..around 15 mins. To port....very nice hotel..free bfast free shuttle to and from.....the shuttles was great. We booked on 123stay or park cruise sleep... Around 150.00....car was safe...it's right next to shopping and restaurants.

Sleep Inn Dania, La Quinta Hollywood, and the 2 airport Hampton Inns have offered this. Call for current policies.
