Live the good life Posted May 22, 2005 #1 Share Posted May 22, 2005 Please share with us on the entertainment/food on the ship and at ports for your 2005 Baltic cruise...Any theme music/shows or buffet at night for certain ports (St. Petersburg, or other ports...)? Recommendations on restaurants and/or places with music/shows at ports? For the Constellation, what kind of music was played in the aft bar? Can one hear the music clearly from the aft cabins and public areas (penthouse deck, vista, panorama, and sky deck)? Many of us on our July 02 Roll-Call will be in the aft area... Which nights were your formal nights on? Thanks, Kim

Nisa Posted May 25, 2005 #4 Share Posted May 25, 2005 Just wanted to recommend a couple of restaurants that we enjoyed on our Baltic Cruise. 1 - Cafe Twee in Warnemunde. Cross the bridge, go right and it's about half way down. Ask for the English menu. Friendly staff, full bar, reasonable prices, restrooms downstairs. We had the fish and steak and both were excellent. 2 - Parnas Restaurant in St. Petersburg. It's one block east of Gostiny Dvor, on a pedestrian side street that branches north off Nevsky. Restaurant is on the west side of the street. Address: 3 Malaya Sadovaya Ulitsa. English translations on the menu, english peaking waiters, restrooms upstairs. This meal ran us $75 for two; two appetisers, two entrees with "garnishes" (which were your side dishes), 1 dessert, 2 bottles of water and 2 pepsis. We had the venison and the Stroganoff. My hubby said the venison was to die for. The Stroganoff was very good, and very rich. I enjoyed it very much, but would probably recommend trying something else, as there were many things to choose from.
