evoni Posted May 22, 2005 #1 Share Posted May 22, 2005 I read a Baltic cruise trip report that was a couple years old, where a couple described doing a night excursion called Imperial Nights at Catherine's Palace where they had actors/docents dressed up in historical costumes in some of the rooms and I was wondering if something like that is still offered? Not sure if it was via their ship excursion or something offered at Catherine's Palace. Also, any other ideas on unusual but safe nighttime activities in St. Petersburg? Our cruise on the Connie isn't until June 2006 and we are thinking of using DenRus for our guides. Thanks! Diana
evoni Posted May 23, 2005 Author #2 Share Posted May 23, 2005 Thanks Princess Di. Where did you find the information on that and do you know if I could book it through one of the private tour operators, or is it only offered by one or more of the cruiseships? Princess Di Posted May 23, 2005 #3 Share Posted May 23, 2005 This is the ship's tour. However, either Red October or DenRus may be able to customize a tour like this for you. E-mail, ya know.
