Chitzen Itza Tour???

Since Progresso has been dropped from our 7/2 Glory sailing, will we be able to tour Chitzen Itza?

I notice that a tour is offered on some itineraries from Cozumel, but it sounds long (6 hr bus, 2 40 min water ferry). Will it be feasible from the Glory? Has anyone tried this tour? Did you have much time in Chitzen Itza?

The nightlife in Cozumel is not very appealing to us, would have prefered the stop in Progresso.

Will there be a port refund from Carnival?

I wouldn't do Chichen Itza on a tour. We did it on a land based vacation, 2 hour bus ride each way. It was worth it and it is very impressive but you really need a lot of time to spend there if you really want to enjoy all of it. I would do the Tulum tour if it is offered by the ship. Tulum is beautiful over looking the ocean. Save CI for when you do a trip to Cancun or Playa del Carmen.
