Le Havre area - Honfleur or Pays d'Auge

We have 2 days in Le Havre. One will be spent seeing the Beaches of Normandy, but not sure how to spend the second day. We are toying with either Honfleur or Pay d'Auge (cheese & calvados). We are foodies and do like wine! Any suggestions?

Thank you.

Tough choice and we would simply answer by saying do both! It is possible to spend some time in the Pay d'Auge region and also stop in Honfleur (we suggest having lunch at one of the cafes on the small harbor) in the same day. Simply rent a car and go! The only caveat is that when you have a rental car (our favorite form of transportation in Europe) the driver needs to limit wine consumption to true tasting....and not gulping :)
