ProfessorandtheGeek Posted October 15, 2012 #1 Share Posted October 15, 2012 Help! Need to decide! Need to make a decision soon between switching from a hump cabin to an aft cabin on the Independence for an Eastern itinerary? Which would you do? Thanks in advance! Thanks! duncanmaria Posted October 15, 2012 #2 Share Posted October 15, 2012 Depends on the deck of the aft cabin. You may have some obstructed views from the super-structure of the ship on some decks. Others can probably offer more details.
Spring Valley Posted October 15, 2012 #3 Share Posted October 15, 2012 We moved from in front of the hump in our JS for our first week of the B2B to 1706, aft JS for our second week. WE love aft cabins because of the extra large balconies and for how quiet it is back there. We couldn't get 1706 for the first week, but we will have to make it thru, knowing we will have the aft for the second week of our Indy cruise. If you have mobility issues, the hump is great, if you love the quiet and the views that the aft has to offer, and don't mind the walk back there, I would go for the aft balconies just for the amount of room you have back there as you will get two chairs and two loungers on your balcony!:D Keith
