Transfer - Hotel to Pier

We have a transfer from the hotel to the pier in Vancouver. What time does this transfer take place? Is it a single scheduled shuttle or do they have shuttles running from the hotel to the pier at multiple times during the sail away day?

 

Am I better off getting a taxi? Will Princess wonder where we went if we don't show up for the transfer? Will our luggage get to the ship through Princess if we take a taxi? :confused:

 

We are staying at the Westin Bay Shore through a Princess pre-cruise stay. I am hoping to be at the pier around 11 am since that seems to be a good time based on my reading threads on this board.

I can address some of the question. In our experience, when you check in to the hotel, they will give you transfer information. On our Sun P cruise in Feb they transferred us to the ship at approx 1:00. I think it is around that time for most of Princess' ships.

 

Not sure about the rest.

It shouldn't be more than ~ a 5 minute taxi ride (depending on traffic). Probably cheaper to do it that way, and you get to pick the time.
