BarbMatt Posted October 17, 2012 #1 Share Posted October 17, 2012 Hi, We are travelling on Grand Princess in November. My daughters are 4 and 7. Will they allow them to be together? Please help with any tips? I as well as they would prefer them be together. Thanks

Cruisin' Chick Posted October 18, 2012 #4 Share Posted October 18, 2012 Unless they change groupings, but I doubt it for a November cruise that will probably not be full of kids. Now if you had two kids that are scheduled to be in two different groups, the younger kid will not be allowed to be moved up.
DrivesLikeMario Posted October 18, 2012 #5 Share Posted October 18, 2012 As long as your kids are those ages when they board and Princess doesn't change the age groupings, they'll be in the same group. Your 7 yr. old may feel like he/she is doing "baby things". Ours wasn't happy being stuck with 4 yr. olds, but maybe since you'll have the 4 yr. old in the group, it will be fine for your older one. I have a couple tips: make sure you pack some toys, a favorite teddy bear or blanket. There will be 'down time' when they'll want something familiar to play with. If you have a DVD player or computer, rent or download some Netflix movies or TV shows that they like. It will really help since the kids' programming is sporadic onboard. Take lots of pictures & enjoy! :)
