I am using my wifes member I.d so i can get my more than 2 cents in about our cruise. Two words THE BOMB...from the moment we arrived to the minute we left. The crew and staff made us feel more than important, Freindly hello's and are you haveing a wonderful times to.. can we get you another drink Sir...(Yes Thank you). Now we are a young couple in our early 30's so the things we did might not appeal to everyone but here it goes.

Arrived early around 10:15 and was on the boat by 11:00 (we got lucky because no one was leaving the ship). After we checked out our cabin and looked around a bit we went to the Bimini Bar on the top of the ship and had some drinks and a bite to eat..Chicken Skewers, Hamburgers, Hotdogs, fries, ect..They we also serving lunch in the garden cafe (Buffet for breakfast and lunch.. YUM). Left port around 4:00pm, cruising out of NY was great. Statue of Liberty and going under the bridge a must see on the top deck (bring your cameras). The next day and a half we were at sea and i have to say if i didn't look out the windows i would have never know we were on a boat. WE got super lucky on sea conditions and weather the whole entire week 1-4ft Waves both ways. There was one night coming back near virginia were the seas got to 7ft but MINOR rocking was the oly effect. AS for The food and drink, Well they were both plentyfull. My favs..Martini clinic with Gede..A MUST, The casino, Left up $200 I'll take it, Cagney's Steak house, Salsa Rest., the breakfast buffet, The 12th deck (Pool, Live Bands, Bars, BBQ's Sun, Hot tubs),Spinikers (night Spot). Were not to much into theater but we did go see a show and i highly enjoyed it.

The whole ship is beautiful and being a "Manly man" I usually don't used such words but that word along with enourmas fits the Vessel. If you have any questions please ask away and i'll get back later with part two..Ports Of Call and things of that nature.

korinnab's DH,

Thanks for your review! :D It's great to hear how much you enjoyed your cruise. We have to wait until August. :(

I'm interested in what excursions you took, as we are planning that part of the trip now.

Wonderful - Marvelous!!! Now I can't wait - as though I could wait before reading your review LOL. September seems so far away - but it'll be here before I know it. Woo hoo - just to be on the Dawn again!!! You brought back memories - just so much to absorb in 7 days. Thank you for writing and I look forward to hearing about your adventures in each port along with any tips and suggestions.

Pool area was awesome, thats were i spent most of my time.

4 hot tobs, live bands, Food, BBQ, No lack of chairs and as festive as you wanna be..Although an older gentleman told us this was the Dawn and not Carnival because i think we were singing God Bless America To Loudly..Don't know what that means though.

Ports Of Call: Port Canaveral , Stayed on the boat ..not into to disney and to be honest we were having a great time on the Ship.

Miam: Took the BB hopper (bus) TO South Beach...Sites,Beaches Pretty Coo, Then bb Hopped to Bayside Market..Outdoor Shops and food courts on the Bay.

Called it a day.

Great Stirrup Cay...Hollar!!! This was by far my favorite.

Sun, Sand, SNORKELING (A MUST) saw tons of cool fish..I could have stayed ther for a week ,plenty of drinks and a BBQ on the beach.

Bring Sun Screen!!!!!

Nassau Bahamas: Didn't go to Atlantis wich next time i will because i heard good things from others that did go..other choices..Shopping and Senior Frogs. Senior frogs was off the hook ..thats of course if you like Loud live music, Dancing, Smoke Machines, Confetti Machines, Drinks being poored down your throat in a conga line ect....We Loved It.

I had the time of my life met some really good peeps and i hope your adventure was as good as mine...."AHOY I'VE SAILED, I'M A SAILOR" (bob)

Thursday evening (that's the day we were at GSC and arrived Nassau 8PM that evening) was "Family Caribbean Deck Party & BBQ" 10:15 PM - poolside.

We were not there as we went to Atlantis.
