Epic Miami

So I am considering booking the Epic. I am wait listed at the Intercontinental and currently booked at the Holiday Inn POM. The holiday inn is my back up, but really want to book one of the other two hotels.

My questions are:

Is it still walking distance from these two hotels to the Bayside Marketplace? Is that a safe area to walk at night? Do either of the hotels have somewhere close by you can grab a quick breakfast on the way to the port? How much do you think a taxi would be to the port from these hotels?

If Epic is in your budget, then forget the other two hotels and stay at Epic. Epic is worlds beyond what Holiday Inn is and Intercontinental. Cab fare from all three hotels works out about the same $10-$15.

Yes its a safe area to walk around at night.

Its maybe a half more block walk to Bayside than Intercontinental.

You can get a great breakfast nearby, but its not on the way to the Port per se. You'd have to go get breakfast then come back to the hotel, check out and then grab a cab to the port.

If you can swing it, have dinner at Area 31 in the hotel. Amazing food, with amazing views...worth the money!!
