Hallway doors?

just curious, am booked on Golden for next april,(first Princess cruise) and while studying deck plans notice what appear to be doors near the elevator and stair landings. is this correct? im assuming their purpose is to cut down on hallway noise? i've never seen these on any other ship! :confused:

Those are fire doors, and are normally open except in emergency.
