glojo Posted December 8, 2012 Author #51 Share Posted December 8, 2012 I am having some very interesting conversations regarding Cunard and the Queen Elizabeth in particular and me being me, every time I discuss this ship my question generating box goes into overdrive. I am told the Lido Restaurant holds numerous theme nights that includes the likes of Chinese or Indian food. I am not a great fan of food that is overly spicey or hot, but I do enjoy a mild curry or a nice Chinese meal. Does anyone know if there is a location where I can find a specimen menu and do we pay to reserve a table or is there a charge per person for this optional food? Does the main restaurant offer this type of meal?
dancer11 Posted December 9, 2012 #52 Share Posted December 9, 2012 Reservations are required, and I believe they charge $10 per person. The menu is posted outside the Lido area each day, so you can see the specific offerings of the day. At least that's the way it's done on Queen Mary 2. glojo Posted December 9, 2012 Author #53 Share Posted December 9, 2012 Thank you very much for that and I guess it would explain why I cannot find any printed menus. If it is a Chinese themed meal then will there be choices, or is it whatever the chef decides is suitable? Regards John
