Celebration - Riviera Deck Question

AboutTime57

Recommended Posts

I will be sailing on the Celebration in September, and have R119 booked. My TA says I can change to guarantee if I want.

Looking at the deck plans, there is a large "open" space about 5 cabins aft of R119 that I don't see on any other Carnival Riviera decks.

I'm wondering if this area is (gulp) the engine??

I'd appreciate any clues about this as I have a couple of weeks to decide about a guarantee instead.

Thanks!

We were in cabin R133 which is right at the end of that hallway.

The "blank" space showing on the deck plan is part of the Crew quarters.

There is a door into it right at the end of the hall next to R133.

Sometimes during the day we could hear sounds like dishes and voices, but it was quiet at night. R119 is 8 cabins away and should be quieter. Notice that you are close by the elevators and steps .

Thank you SOOO much! You have allayed my fears - phew! :D

My TA picked R119 as the best available cabin at the time based on what you were saying - how close it is to the elevator and steps. But when I saw that big open space I got really nervous.

I will stay with R119 and not bother with a guarantee.

Thanks again, Here4Beer!
