Please follow local custom out of respect, not because you have to.I agree with you. Plus, ignoring local customs is certainly not allowed in some parts of the world. I've been to churches and mosques where they'll provide a hot, smelly cover-up that's been worn by probably thousands of people between washes and won't let you in without it.
