Ship Lagoon Discovery

While we are in port during our two days in Moorea we are trying to decide between the PG Ship Lagoon Discovery excursion or returning back to the Hilton . We will be at the Hilton 3 days pre-cruise. How does snorkeling compare at the Hilton vs ship tour Lagoon Discovery please ? Thanks, Donna

I think the Lagoon excursion takes you to the motu opposite the IC. So you should check that out as well. I am not 100% sure but you may want to wait until on board and ask the excursion desk about it.

Fro mthe discription it would seen you are taken into the 2 bays followed by a visit to the Motus off of the old Club Med location.

 

You can visit the same motus by taking the shuttle from the IC, Coco Beach transfer or Les Tipaniers. Transfer cost are normally about $10 each but you do need to get to the transfer location.

 

There is a cafe out on the motu for lunch etc etc

 

The snorkeling is good at both locatations meaning the Motus and the Hilton.
