Balcony vs Premium Balcony

I know when I was booking I was wondering the same thing as the exact same cabins would show for either category. I even called and asked and the person I talked to had no clue what the difference was.

Location, Location, Location. Generally mid-ship. Also Premium Balconies are sometimes a tad larger. Premium Aft balconies are extended and Premium Vista balconies are Aft wrap...meaning you have a balcony that wraps around the back corner of the ship and is HUGE. Those are our favorites.

We have a premium balcony on the Pride. It is aft near the elevator. It has the extended balcony and the room is larger than a normal cabin. We loved it and have it booked again for our December cruise. For us, it's worth the extra money. Use search to look at Pride 6279 and there will be some threads with photos of it.

8a Premium balconies are longer.. the room may be slightly different..mostly there will be no couch and set up a little different..but I happen to be in love with them and book them whenever possible!! Here's one of Libertys 8A.. 6481

We had a aft premium bal. on the Pride my SIL and BIL had a suite and were jealous of our room it was larger than theres and had the huge wraparound balcony totally awesome

is what I was told is a premium Balcony. Anyone had a a room on the Freedom in that category??
