sugarking Posted November 7, 2012 #1 Share Posted November 7, 2012 We are on a B2B and have two different cabins. What can we do on the ship between the time we check out of the first cabin until we can check into the second cabin? Any help would be greatly appreciated. valleyvillage Posted November 7, 2012 #2 Share Posted November 7, 2012 It depends on the ship, the port, and the X factor. If you read B2B posts here you will find many variations. You may be told to disembark and then re-embark, you may be told to go to the desk and have your room card changed, then stay on the ship. You may be told by your room steward to just pack and leave the cases in the cabin and they will move them to the new one. Lots of possibilities! Enjoy your cruise whatever the case!:D

davesgirl51 Posted November 7, 2012 #4 Share Posted November 7, 2012 We are going on the Jewel on 12/9 in NY. You'll get a note to report to the front desk, you will disembark and when the ship has been cleared, luggage claimed and luggage room exterminated, you will be allowed to re-embark. Caveat : This is the norm at the current time, subject to extenuating circumstances and change. Your cabin steward will be responsible for getting your luggage to your new stateroom. It goes without saying, that you should be responsible for any valuables.

gerry1.10 Posted November 8, 2012 #6 Share Posted November 8, 2012 We are on a B2B and have two different cabins. What can we do on the ship between the time we check out of the first cabin until we can check into the second cabin?Any help would be greatly appreciated. We just came back from a B2B (on the Sun) with different cabins. We packed our stuff and leave it in the cabin we occupy and carry on with our day. Our luggage was taken care of and moved to our new cabin by the time we got back on the ship. When we are ready to go about with our day we proceeded to get our NEW cabin key cards issued before leaving the ship. That way with the newly issued key cards you will be able to embark the ship without having to go and "check in" again. Hope this helps.

davesgirl51 Posted November 8, 2012 #8 Share Posted November 8, 2012 Can we stay on the ship? NO. Not unless there are extenuating circumstances.
