Dream- deluxe oceanview room 1240

Finally got my cabin assignment for my upcoming cruise yesterday and this is what we got. We paid for a regular OV and got the deluxe so a slight upgrade. Is this a good room? Besides being on riviera deck it seems convenient to the elevators and has cabins above it so should be quiet right? Are there going to be lots of people hanging out by my door waiting for the elevator?

You shouldn't have any people waiting by your door for the elevator. The elevator doors are facing away from your hallway. You may hear a little bit of noise from people who have cabins on your floor or when in port for folks getting off for excursions. Enjoy your cruise!

The only traffic you will get are from the surrounding cabins since you are basically on the ground floor and nobody else should be coming down except to explore.

We had a Deluxe OV last December on the Magic and LOVED it! We were right at the opening of the hall way near the elevators and never hear anyone! We also loved having the 1.5 baths!

I missed the fact that you were on the Dream. We are going on the Pride. It appears we are right next to a dance club, which is odd. It could be like sleeping on a speaker. Oh well...
