Bodden private tour payment-charge card or Cash large or smaller bills??

It seems like we've paid with $100's before with no problem (when we had a big group of us), but I'm sure that smaller bills are easier for them to break.

Most of the gift shops would only take smaller bills (or VISA/MC with a "tourist" fee added on!) and often gave the change in local currency. ** Hint: This is where the Bodden guide really helps-out, and made sure we were receiving the correct change! ** There is a local craft store in West End "Waves of Art" that we've hit on each trip and used our AMEX with no added fees or surprises when we return home! Great store if you're looking for more handmade items.

Wife remembers one restaurant wouldn't accept a $20 that had been taped...but, Victor took it without question.
