shopping question

How far is the shopping district from where the ships dock? Is it walking distance or do you have to take a cab?

 

I am not much of a shopper but want to take a look at some things for a father's day gift.

It is a quick 5 min or less water taxi ride. For only $5 you can ride the water taxi all day to and from the ship. The water taxi station is right outside of where the cruise ship docks and you can't miss it. The shopping distict is right in front of you as you get off the water taxi. It extends for blocks and blocks. Have fun! I sure did :)

Lots of people walk it -- 20 mins, not more. But I don't find it a pleasant stroll and prefer to save my energy for the board walk and Front street (both parallel to the beach, one backing the stores, one on the front).
