Floods in Venice

Just wondered whether anyone has seen todays astonishing newspaper photos (DM) of floods in Venice where tourists are swimming in St Marks square and the chairs and tables are half submerged in water?

Just noticed it on T.V news it's probably been showing all day so you would have already seen it, sorry if I seem a bit slow :o I must be one of the numpties mentioned earlier this year. Couldn't believe it though.

I haven't seen any news bulletins today, so your post was the first I'd heard about it.

Don't think I would enjoy being there in those conditions!

Its just awful Nell - it says 70% of central Venice is under 59 and a half inches of water!!!!!
