Ship Motion in Aft Cabins?

It depens of course on how rough things get, and the angle that any wind is hitting the ship. It's less than you experience being at the extreme forward end of the ship, but possibly not by much. I think most people get used to the motion after a day or two. It would only be under very unusual conditions that you would be rocking and rolling.

Was aft on Diamond (Sapphire sister) Baja-B753. During the roughest times, really only thought it was a slightly strange feeling while riding in the elevators.

On the roughest day there were lots of people complaining about being sea sick and say people leaving the dining room because of the motion.

When at sea I expect to feel some motion. I don't get sea sick and never take anything for it. We love the aft cabins, didn't give the motion a second thought. It seemed smooth enough to us.

If in doubt, prone to sea sickness, or not comfortable with the motion of the ocean, never book an aft cabin. Save it for those of us who love it.
