wr813 Posted November 14, 2012 #1 Share Posted November 14, 2012 Because as I type this, it is 29 degrees outside and I work a combination of indoors and outdoors. That is why I like the Bahamas. Is Jan. 31 here yet?
debshomespun Posted November 14, 2012 #2 Share Posted November 14, 2012 27* here with a wind chill of 20! Yes, I love cruising the Caribbean, but the Bahamas the end of January is not warm enough for me! :D
richsea Posted November 14, 2012 #3 Share Posted November 14, 2012 Anywhere warm is a good thing when the temps at home are below freezing!....and let's not talk about snow!! We love cruising the Caribbean, even after so many Caribbean cruises. I've noticed that there are those that say they're sick of the Caribbean, but if you like the beach, Caribbean beaches beat the Med. beaches, & the Hawaiian & west coast beaches hands down. I guess about anything beats Long Island right now. Sorry about your problems. For those of us that do not live in the fridgid lands of North America Florida is a great alternative. Drivable, Affordable, Warm, Great Food(better than cruise line food), Many people there speak English!:) Ahhh, can't wait till the week after Xmas.:D
