Sydney32203 Posted November 17, 2012 #1 Share Posted November 17, 2012 I have just booked 7310 which is situated at the start of the hump. Are there any negatives about this cabin? I wanted a cabin close to the lift and stairs, that's why I chose this cabin. From the plan it looks like the balcony is slightly bigger because of the hump? Will my views be obstructed from the next balcony on the hump? There will be three of us in this cabin (2 adults and a child) and it looks like I'll be the one sleeping on the Pullman. Is the ceiling very close to the Pullman? Will I feel claustrophobic because of the ceiling?
cb at sea Posted November 18, 2012 #2 Share Posted November 18, 2012 Great, convenient location. The stairs and elevators are in a foyer, so noise isn't an issue. The balcony and cabin are no larger because of the hump....that feature is only on Radiance class ships. The pullman is over the main bed....I wouldn't sleep there! I'd put the mattress on the floor and let the kiddo sleep on the floor! Of, if you have a sofa, just let them sleep on that, unonpened, since it's not a sleep sofa. Sydney32203 Posted November 19, 2012 Author #3 Share Posted November 19, 2012 Thanks or replying, cb at sea. I like the idea of putting to mattress on the floor. Will the cabin attendant (is that he right name for them? Sorry, I'm new to cruising) leave the mattress on the floor when he makes up the cabin everyday? Or does he put it back on the Pullman? Thanks.
