Can't access Cruise Critic with my MacBook

Can any tech experts help me, please? Using Mozilla Firefox with Adblock Plus on a MacBook Pro, Mac OS X Version 10.7.5. Attempts to load Cruise Critic result in the little circle thingy in the tab going round and round and nothing else happens, never a page load, never an error message. I had no problems until a few days ago and have no problems with other sites. I tried deactivating Adblock Plus to no avail.

No problem with my pc using Firefox and Adblock Plus and no problems with Safari on the same Macbook. I would rather use Firefox than Safari.

Thanks for any help.

I'm not familiar with Firefox but if this was Safari I'd hazard a guess that the cookie for Cruise Critic might have become corrupted. You might want to go to the cookie folder and delete the one for Cruise Critic and try and then open it by using its www address.

Have you tried opening Cruise Critic with Safari?

I have a MacBook Pro Running mountain lion too... i use chrome, but sometimes i have the same problems. clear the cache and history (usually clears it up) and restart. should be good as new. if not, call apple. they're super helpful with all of that, even tho its not their program.

The restart did it. Thank you, xitappers2bx and all others.
