Family of 5 in St Thomas, help please!

We are a family of five (three adults and children 6 & 8), first trip to St Thomas. We sail 11/24.

 

We would like to go to Blackbeard's Castle and Megan Beach. Our ship is at Havensight. Could someone give suggestions as to an efficient and inexpensive way to get our family to these locations? We are trying to plan to make sure we have enough $ and that we don't go broke trying at the same time. Any suggestions as to which is done first or would be wise for our family would be greatly appreciated!
