deck six on magic

We sailed on Deck 6 of Carnival Magic the summer of 2011. We were in cabin 6493. If you go to cruiselinerooms dot com, you can find several photos of the cabin. We loved, loved, loved that cabin...very quiet and private. However, we were in the extreme aft of the ship, not over any hot tubs or bar-b-ques. This past summer, we sailed on the sister ship the Breeze. We had an aft cabin on deck 7 (loved it, but small), but friends of ours were on deck 6 directly overtop of a hot tub. They called security one night because of intense noise and (other things, use your imagination) going on in the hot tub. They could see directly into it, and vice versa. Check out and compare decks on the ship--see what is under your cabin and overtop of your cabin. Then you can make somewhat of a decision. Whatever happens, you are "cruisin'! " So all is well!
