Tina.w12 Posted November 22, 2012 #1 Share Posted November 22, 2012 Can anyone tell me how long the transfer from the airport to Bridgetown on Barbados is?

Tina.w12 Posted November 23, 2012 Author #3 Share Posted November 23, 2012 Thanks. Do you know if there is time to go to see Concorde on the last day? Flying back to Manchester
merciaman Posted November 23, 2012 #4 Share Posted November 23, 2012 Yes about 25 mins and you go straight from the aircraft steps to a waiting bus, even better. The last day,you should have time to visit Concord. We spent the morning on the beach going back to the ship between 1 and 2 o clock. kruzseeka Posted November 23, 2012 #5 Share Posted November 23, 2012 Thanks. Do you know if there is time to go to see Concorde on the last day? Flying back to Manchester Most flights leave late afternoon which means you have quite a few hours before you have to leave the ship for good. You can go off the ship and do whatever you wish during that time. I don't know about seeing Concorde. Remember it will be Sunday and much of Bridgetown is closed down (it's remarkable quiet!). The nearby distillery which I would like to visit is closed on Sunday. If you Google 'Concorde' you will perhaps be able to determine whether it's possible to visit on Sunday. kruzseeka Posted November 23, 2012 #6 Share Posted November 23, 2012 I've just Googled it and apparently the Concorde Experience is at the airport - beyond security. There is a 'contact us' option so perhaps you could discuss the logistics with them but as has been said, from a time point of view it would be possible to do in the morning. I think you'd have to go back to the ship though to reclaim your hold luggage it to be transferred to the airport. (I know our cases go straight to the ship on the outward journey but did we actually reclaim it dockside or at the airport on the return? Memory bit hazy here. Tina.w12 Posted November 23, 2012 Author #7 Share Posted November 23, 2012 Thanks, I have emailed them. As we are doing a B2B, I have looked at the trips Thomson is selling and they are doing it when we go back to Barbados after the 1st week, so it should be open on a Sunday. Cases go straight from ship to the airport, you`ll not see them again until you land.
Huddersfieldtourist Posted December 1, 2012 #9 Share Posted December 1, 2012 Should be ok for Concorde - it is at the airport. As for baggage - on return you do not see them after you leave them outside your cabin until you are back in UK from memory
NorthWalesCouple Posted December 1, 2012 #10 Share Posted December 1, 2012 Can anyone tell me how long the transfer from the airport to Bridgetown on Barbados is? I remember going off the plane onto coach never saw security or borded controls straight to ship. Sent from my GT-P5113 using Tapatalk
