Lunch at Caye Caulker?

I am ready to reserve Caye Caulker for my group. We will be taking the snorkeling tour and renting a golf cart afterwards. We are not sure if we want to do the "lunch" option or if there may be other good options while wandering about. What have you done, and would you do it differently next time?

If this will be your first visit to Caye Caulker, why not skip the lunch & use your time there riding or walking up to the split, as far as you can go in that direction where a hurricane cut a new inlet, to get a feel for this island. I'd suggest that you walk up one street & come back on the next street over. You will probably find some street vendors to buy a meal from as you are walking/riding.

IMHO, one time walking the island was enough for my wife & myself & now we just do the optional local lunch & enjoy that area.

I assume that you are referring to a snorkel trip with Coral Breeze Tours ?

Possibly Wade the gringo will chime in here with more info for you.

Enjoy Belize.
