Can I order bottles of liquor from RS?

We've ordered bottles of vodka from the bon voyage dept. on our other cruises with Carnival. I know the answer is here somewhere, but I believe I have read that pax are able to order bottles from room service now. Anyone know? Thanks!

Yes you can, we have done it a few times, same price as ordering it thru Bon Voyage dept.

If you call room service and say no just go to guest services and ask.

It has been reported that some ships you have to go through Guest Services Desk not room service.

You also must be in your cabin when it is sent since you must sign for it.

We had no problems getting it thru room service, and yes you have to be in the room when it is delivered.

We were on the Magic last week and they would not let us. We called and went to guest services. The Triumph won't let you either, we tried there also. We have bought it in the past on the Conquest though. Maybe it depends what ship you're on.

Yes, no, maybe. There is no corporate policy, AFAIK

 

It is up to local laws and ultimately the hotel Director on the specific ship/cruise.

We have called in directly to room service and have been successful in ordering bottles of liquor. We have never tried calling Guest Services though.
