My last cruise was Mexican Riviera Jan 2004 on Celebrity Mercury.

Top 5:

1. Wonderful Dining room wait staff. We sailed with my 14 month old and they spoiled him something awful...LOL. The first night they saw me cutting up his melon smaller, the next day it was done for me. He loved the fruit soups, so even on nights that they weren't serving fruit soup...they had some special for him. He turned 14 months on the trip....so they had a 'birthday' cake for him. The Sommilier brought him a gift and came over every night to see him, he loved her. We didn't even drink, but she came to visit anyway. I really could go on and one here...lol.

2. Norene. She came and babysat our son each evening from 7:30 to 11'ish. She was great. She would take him around. The entire crew knew him and would all say hello to him when we'd be walking around. They would go out of their way to see him and 'visit'. It was definately my impression that the crew really likes to have kids (babies) around (well, I was also told that by several).

3. It was DH's first cruise, he had a ball.

4. Ixtapa....this port is great.

5. Casino - I really have a good time here. I even came out a couple hundred ahead...WOO HOO.

Bottom 5.

1. I was pregnant (need I say more?).

2. It rained at nearly every port.

3. Took too many bus tours (my fault, but still stunk).

4. Chair Hogs, especially when your toddling around with a 14 month old and a extra 15 pounds in your mid section....LOL

6. My room steward, first lousy one I ever had. Amoung other things (like a dirty room), Once when I ordered room service (well, the ONLY time I ordered room service, he asked if I could wait an hour or so, so he could go to lunch, ummm, well, doesn't some one take your place while your gone???? and I'm a pregnant hungry woman, NO I can't wait an hour....LOL).

5. Oh, and I was pregnant, did I mention THAT?
