Any updates on the cheers bar program?

Just wondering I'm going on the magic in march and seems like every ship has it but the one I'll be on:mad: still dont understand why they dont just roll it out fleet wide. I have no idea where to find the updates for it. I emailed John Heald a few weeks back asking but he never sent me anything back.

Cheers Beverage Program!

Important Note: This is on a trial basis only, presently on the Carnival Victory, Carnival Splendor, Carnival Breeze, Carnival Dream, Carnival Conquest; Carnival Legend; Carnival Valor and the Carnival Liberty.

Under the Cheers Beverage Program!, guests can enjoy a wide variety of wine, beer and spirits, along with sodas and non-alcoholic frozen cocktails throughout the voyage at one convenient, flat rate. The cost for this program is $42.95 per person, per day, plus a 15% gratuity.

Guests can sign up for the Cheers Beverage Program at the Atrium Bar, Casino Bar or the bar at the main pool area.

anymore updates? has anybody heard how the trials are going or if this is gonna be a permenant thing? I cant belive it hasnt gone fleetwide yet.

I have seen this question asked on several other Cheers program threads and either no one responds or they post the current announcement. So I am assuming no one has a clue when it will roll out fleet wide. I, too, wish it would come out because we are on the Magic a couple of weeks after you. We would definitely use it:D

I pulled this off the Carnival website today (1/3/13). I'm cruising on the Paradise the end of Feb and it's not available yet on the Paradise, but according to the FAQ it is available on the Magic.

Yes, you can buy wine by the glass rather than the bottle, or get any cocktail as you would at any other bar. I loved it in the steakhouse because I could order different wine with different courses.

I drink My wife doesnt drink at all period !!!!!! I cant buy it for just me but have to buy it for both they really should re think that ! Maybe put something like if caught sharing drinks your cheers program would be canceled with full payment due!!!!! But I do understand!!! I think its like 700$ for a 7 day cruise for 2 thats alot of booze for one man to drink!!! I would like to remember my cruise!!!

OMG I was so mad before I read this whole thread, sailing on the Pride in April and feeling very left out...but is it true??? This will be available for me!? So excited now
