Advice please – departing Sydney +30s +40s – single

Recommended Posts

Hi,

Different cruise lines have a general demographic bias according to many cruisers on this forum, although no 2 cruises will ever be alike & all will vary from the general view from time to time.

But this I believe is the general consensus.

Carnival or P&O for a younger crowd & families.

Royal Caribbean for a mixed crowd

Celebrity & HAL for an older crowd

May I please ask are there any cruises that depart Sydney with a +30 +40 singles demographic. I am traveling alone and trying to avoid or minimise couples, the young and the old.

Carnival are pretty good at letting people get drunk so I would suggest Carnival Spirit:D:D:D

Plenty of people cruise in their 30,s and 40,s and mostly to where the sun shines plenty,I was one of them, not of late though:( 40,s is just a dream of mine in the past ) :)

But to tell you the truth Cruising is a couples/family thing and sometimes singles are a bit older and decided to continue their cruising experience alone (never alone thus this forum).

I have witnessed a few pick ups in the nightclub very late and a few teen holiday romances but on a whole cruising is a sharing experience for couples and families.

Lonely Hearts it is not;)

Carnival USA is pretty good for singles though!
