Good time for Singapore to Hong Kong? November?

We would like to do a cruise between Singapore and Hong Kong. Because we went there for our honeymoon we would like to go there again for our 25th anniv. , but this time do a cruise.Would November be a good time for cruising in that area? I remember it rained a lot in Singapore then..Which ports should we stop at? Thank you for your help!
