When are Jeans OK?

We are preparing for our first Oceania cruise in a few weeks. I have diligently reviewed Oceania's literature as well as the archives of this board and I am pretty confident that I understand the dress code and how it applies.

My one remaining question is in reference to jeans. Since we have never and would never wear them to a dining room or a specialty restaurant for dinner, there is no question there.

However, we both will tend to wear them during the day especially on sea days and almost always on embarkation and debarkation because that's what we are most comfortable in for travel. By my reading of the dress code, this would be permitted as are shorts, sandals, etc. For the experienced O cruisers, do you see jeans during the day? Note: not asking if that is what you prefer - rather asking if jeans as well as shorts as well as capris, etc are all in the mix?.

You may wear jeans at any time except in the main dining room during dinner and in the specialty dining rooms. I have often wore jeans in the dining room for breakfast and lunch. We don't use the casinos so I wouldn't know about them. Enjoy.
