From the Grand Cruise posts of Bill and Mary Ann I've read over the last few years, the veteran world cruisers know exactly how many formal nights and the theme of many of those nights and prepare accordingly with attire to fit the celebration.

Wow, that is not as many as I thought. Usually there are 2 for each 7 day cruise. So with that I figured 32, 19 is far less and better.:)

That is so much more reasonable than what we experienced on our back to back to back....we had 10 formal nights during our 37 days at sea. :rolleyes:

19 formal nights for 115 days seems great!

I too would look forward to planning for those, especially with all the days at sea they have. :D

I agree --- we had 7 formal nites for our 30 days to Hawaii & South Pacific --- maybe the World Cruise is less due to the number of ports they visit --- the itinerary looks pretty intense to me.

Boy I wish the only thing I had to worry about was formal nights on a World Cruise. LOL :p
