Beach after Dolphin Encounter?

Thinking of doing a Dolphin Encounter through the cruise line (NCL) in Roatan. It appears to be through Anthony's Key Resort but they won't let you book directly. NCL has the Dolphin Encounter alone for $109 for adult/$89 child or Dolphin Encounter plus Tabayna Beach for $149 adult/$139 kid. They do serve lunch on the more expensive excursion, plus it is longer since you got to the beach after the dolphins (I assume, I suppose the beach could be first). Anyway, it seems like an awfully high price to pay for lunch and transport to the beach. If we do just the dolphin encounter is there a way to get to a decent beach on our own and back to the ship? We do have our own snorkeling gear and would be interested in snorkeling from the beach somewhere if possible.
