Getting to Playa from Cozumel? Floating through caves?

Recommended Posts

We have been to Cozumel more then 10 times over the years and we are looking to do something different this time.

We have 14 adults in our group...and we have about 12 hours there this time.

We want to go to Playa Del Carmen...and float through the best caves... we aren't sure which ones are the longest and least crowded?

We know there is a ferry boat... and are interested in looking at that option.

We are coming in on the Allure of the Seas on March 1st...

We also would not be against a chartered sail boat or motor boat...in the morning...

and hiring ground transportation on the other side.... to the caverns...and then heading back to our boat...

because we wouldn't mind a possible snorkel on our way back to the island of Cozumel...later in the day.

HAS anyone done anything like this?

We are all a little crazy adventurous and most of us are divers... just trying to figure out our options with that size of a group of friends.

Thanks for your help or advice if you have any thoughts to offer.

Amy
