BenjiRodney Posted January 10, 2013 #1 Share Posted January 10, 2013 Had booked a cruise on line and not through my usual PVP, it was a past guest rate and had on board credit. J did not want to go to Nassau again, I really did not either, but did want to do Half Moon Cay. Called today to see what the penalty would be to switch to the 5 day Carnival Paradise leaving 2 days later visiting Grand Cayman and Cozumel. Well to my suprise, no change fee or penalty for changing, just lost the OBC. PVP got permission from a supervisor to change the booking and help me out. He did not have to do this and could have told me to call the 800 number for assistance. But he did not. Great example of customer service, considering he gets no credit for the booking.:)
luvtovaca Posted January 10, 2013 #2 Share Posted January 10, 2013 I agree. Glad you posted this. I think we all are quick to complain when customer service from anywhere is less than perfect. (Don't just mean these boards, Carnival, etc. I mean in general) It's nice to see postitive feedback!

Mizzouaholic Posted January 10, 2013 #4 Share Posted January 10, 2013 I'm always down for good old fashion customer service! I can't stand the ones who refuse to budge from their policies no matter what! Glad you had a good experience.
