And what I mentioned earlier, applies to those that are awarded free cruises to augment the fact that they have received 100, 150, 200, etc cruises with Royal Caribbean. Now that equates to 700 points, 1050, 1400, etc.

 

The first two, now 700 and 1050, Royal Caribbean will give you a 7 night Caribbean cruise, in an E-2 cabin. Once you reach 1400 points.......they move you up to a JS......which is where you will stay till you die!:D

 

If you want to stay where they put you, no points are awarded for that cruise, but if you wanted to upgrade, and pay for the extra, then points will be added.

 

I know nothing about Bingo, the casino operation, or any other freebee that Royal gives out.

OK I won a free bingo cruse last year and will be taking it on 1-27-13. It was for a 7 day ocean view cabin which we upgraded to a junior suite. I had to pay it in full on the day that I booked the cruise, upgrade, taxes and gratuties. I had to book it through the promotions department and she said I would not get any cruise credits..after we return I'm going to make a few calls just for the heck of it.

 

 

Bingo gets no points because it is truly a "free" cruise as in no one is reimbursing the Hotel department for that cruise. Casinos pays for these cruises - they aren't free they are gifts.

 

The general rule is as long as *someone* pays for the cruise, points are awarded. If *no one* pays for the cruise, no points.
