sailing past the volcano

What time at night does the Pride of Aloha pass the volcano (where you may be able to see the lava)? Just want to plan my dinner time accordingly so we don't miss seeing it because we are stuck in the dining room.

Also, what time is sunset currently?

We sail this Sunday!!

Thanks,

Andrea

Maybe just wait till you're on the ship to get a better idea when you will be going by, and then decide when to eat, planning now is a bit too premature. Besides, it's freestyle, you might not be hungry.

Have a great time on Pride of Aloha! I know we did.

We passed the lava flow just like Mikefast said, around 10PM or so. The captain stopped the ship and did a "360" spin so that passengers could see it from all angles. There will be a blurb in the Daily about the approximate time after you leave Hilo. DW and I enjoyed the view from our stateroom balcony.

For sunset times, check www.weather.com. They'll give the extended forcast, sunset and sunset times.

Have fun!
