Port Canaveral - Cocoa Beach??

Going on Pride end of February. Already did fanboat/alligator trip in the past. Others with me don't want to do Kennedy Space stuff. Too far for Disney. Is Cocoa Beach/Ron Jon Surf Shop fun to do? Will water be ok then? Or is there a hotel that we can use for beach/nice pool etc? Thank you.

I was just on the pride and the weather was great. Circus beach is fine if you want to just chill in the beach.

Across the street from Ron Jons is the Dinosaurs store.

We did the Cocoa Beach shuttle and it was great. The beach was clean and we had a great day without spending lots!

Ron Jon's is definitely a place to go if you've never been! I can (and have) spent hours in that place!

Water temperature in Feb to us (Floridians) is chilly, Northerners think it is great! We do have "cold spells", but they don't last long. Lots of nice beaches close to the port, probably one of the best is Jetty Park (a small fee is charged per vehicle), and right next to Port Canaveral. This is where a lot of people go to watch the cruise ships leave. Also lots of excellent seafood restaurants close by.

We did this excursion last March and loved it. We went shopping first, grabbed some lunch, then went to Ron Jon's and hit the beach. The water was great and we had a blast. I really enjoyed my day there!

We have stayed at the Radisson in Cape Canaveral. Has a nice pool.
