familycruisetime Posted January 14, 2013 #1 Share Posted January 14, 2013 Sailing on INDY in April with two kids. They always enjoy kids club but how many children should we expect on a TA?
rebeccalouiseagain Posted January 16, 2013 #2 Share Posted January 16, 2013 There probably won't be many school aged kids. I did a 14 night Transatlantic a in May of 2005 and there were about 20 kids onboard between the ages of 1-18. Most of the kids were under 5. Nebr.cruiser Posted January 17, 2013 #3 Share Posted January 17, 2013 There probably won't be many school aged kids. I did a 14 night Transatlantic a in May of 2005 and there were about 20 kids onboard between the ages of 1-18. Most of the kids were under 5. We've done three TA's, and that sounds about right. Although I never heard any numbers, there were some under fives and a very, very few school age.
KirkNC Posted January 17, 2013 #4 Share Posted January 17, 2013 Yes that is consistent with our experience also, not many school aged kids.
mymollysue Posted January 17, 2013 #5 Share Posted January 17, 2013 I did a Celebrity Transatlantic and there were 2 kids on the whole ship. But Celebrity TA's are geared more towards older adults. You may have better luck on a Royal.
