Could someone tell me the distance from the cruise ship pier to downtown Jakarta? Is a taxi easy to do? Our ship only has 3 tours and none seemed to wow us. Thank you

We were in Jakarta on HAL's Volendam. The dock was in an industrial port area some distance to the downtown area. I'm sorry I don't remember the cost, but there was a shuttle bus to downtown. I 'think' it was about $5-10/pp. We stayed onboard as nothing wowed us and we were pretty tired due to a long tour the previous day.
