7 mile beach water entry?

Where is the best area for a smooth water entrance on 7 mile beach? I've been to Royal Palms and love it but last February there was a very steep drop-off just as you entered the water. OK for getting in but VERY hard for getting out. My husband spent hours hoisting people out. lol Just wondering if it was like that recently or if I should try Sea Grape or another location. Thanks.

I was just at Sea Grape beach in early January and there was a similar "step" fairly soon after entering/before exiting the water. I saw some people (who appeared to be a bit unsteady on their feet) having a person on one or both sides to help them make that step up to get out of the water. Yes, I did see a few people fall too. The step was a far greater challenge when exiting the water.
