HELP ......please

We are going on the Disney Magic in a few months and the first port is Antigua. I have never been to Antigua and am at a loss even after searching the net. I am taking my boys who are 3 and 6 alone bc my DH is being sent back to Iraq again My parents are also going but my Mom is disabled so they are arranging excursions through for her needs.

My boys love the beach. I have read that Dickenson Beach is near the pier but can I get there by taxi, how much is the taxi, is there a charge for the beach, are there bathrooms or a place to get a cold drink or a snack. Is this beach busy enough where I will feel safe being alone with 2 little guys?

Is there enough time to take them up in the sky tram and then go to the beach? We dock early and leave at 4:15 pm so I assume we need to be back in to the ship by 3:15 pm........any and all help would be greatly appreciated.

I am at a loss............

There are taxis that you can take to Dickenson Bay beach but Darkwood beach is nicer. You can find information on taxis here www.qualityci.com and also some pictures on this site www.classified-ads-antigua.com if you need any more information e-mail me at qualityci@actol.net :)
