NCL or Celebrity for Alaska family cruise

I am driving myself crazy trying to decide best cruise for family of four with 11 year old twins. First time cruising and going to Alaska. Narrowed it down to NCL Jewel/Pearl or Celebrity Solstice. Want to make sure girls are entertained and it's not too formal. Suggestions?

I've done both cruise lines to Alaska and NCL is definitely less formal. The cabins generally are a bit smaller on NCL though- so if you are doing a standard room- it will be slightly larger on Celebrity. If you do NCL- try to get the largest cabin you can afford or connecting cabins.

AK is definately pretty port intensive, so much of your time will be spent in ports. Either line has a great kids programming and stuff to do. AK is never real formal-- so I'd choose based upon itinerary and cost. You really can't go wrong
