Skimby Posted June 3, 2005 #1 Share Posted June 3, 2005 Can't live without it! Do they have any on the ship? Can I bring my own?
beancounterbeth Posted June 4, 2005 #2 Share Posted June 4, 2005 I am definately bringing my Red Bull with me. I usually go to bed early so I'm going to use my Red Bull to help keep me away late at night.
Uggies822 Posted June 4, 2005 #3 Share Posted June 4, 2005 Does anyone know for sure!! B/c I really hope they do! Not only is it being used to keep us awake or wake us up, but also in a lot of drinks now too!
Guest OBAYbee Posted June 4, 2005 #4 Share Posted June 4, 2005 I have never seen Red Bull on any of the Voyager class ships so far. If I were you, and it meant that much to me I would definitely bring some of my own just incase.
Smiling Hi Posted June 4, 2005 #5 Share Posted June 4, 2005 I had called RCI because I wanted to carry Gatorade - basically, anything they don't sell on the ship seems to be ok - the rep told me they're don't want people coming in with all kinds of soda cans, since they sell that on the ship. I wish I had thought to ask about Red Bull. The rep also said they don't allow prepared foodstuffs aboard (crackers, cookies in packages are ok). This apparently has to do with food handling regulations and safety (as opposed to "don't bring it on board cause we're going to sell it to you and make money"). I'm taking my Gatorade and Red Bull. wrp96 Posted June 4, 2005 #6 Share Posted June 4, 2005 On my last Voyager cruise, they had Red Bull. However, it was VERY popular and they had run out by the end of the week, at least in certain parts of the ship.

He couldn't live without cactus cooler! Bleh!
Skimby Posted June 4, 2005 Author #8 Share Posted June 4, 2005 So, does this mean we can bring it in our carry-on's, or does it have to be "smuggled"?
lephysteria Posted June 4, 2005 #9 Share Posted June 4, 2005 I'd put it in my checked luggage. I hardly think they'd take it. :)
sherry7 Posted June 4, 2005 #10 Share Posted June 4, 2005 They definitely had it on the Mariner when we cruised in January. One of our tablemates drink of choice was Yeager and Red Bull. Actually, since they'd only use half the can in the drink, they'd bring him the other half of the can. I suppose he used it later, with another shot of Yeager. Firefighterhoop Posted June 4, 2005 #11 Share Posted June 4, 2005 Yes the Mariner had it, but I don't rememebr seeing it on the Legend, so you may want to try to bring your own... Remember, you can bring beverages on board just not alcohol.
